2021 State Runner-Up

Oneonta lost to Vigor in the State Championship in 2021 at Protective Stadium in Birmingham. The team accumulated a 13-2 record scoring 34.3 pts/game while allowing 19.1 pts/game on defense. While claiming the Region Championship

2013 State Championship

Oneonta High School's 2013 Class 4A state championship victory over Charles Henderson High School was a significant achievement in the state of Alabama. The game took place at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, and it was a showcase of the best high school football talent in the state. Avery Reid, the standout player for Oneonta, rushed for three touchdowns, contributing to the team's 28-10 win. The game was marked by a strong defense, with Oneonta forcing four turnovers, and a strong offense, with Reid scoring on runs of 5, 2, and 4 yards. The victory was the fourth state title for Oneonta and the first since 2004. The game was a testament to the team's skill and determination, as they overcame a strong opponent to claim the program's 5th State Championship.

2012 State Runner-Up

Oneonta lost to UMS-Wright in the class 4A State Championship at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The team had a record of 14-1, averaged 44.3 pts/game offensively while only allowing 12.7 pts/game on defense.

2011 State Runner-Up

Oneonta lost to Jackson High School in the class 4A State Championship game in Tuscaloosa. The team accumulated a record of 12-3 while scoring 38.3 pts/game and allowing 16.1 pts/game on defense.

2004 State Championship

Oneonta won their first state championship since back-to-back wins in 1971 and 1972. Capping off the progam's only 15-0 season the 2004 Redskins averaged 30 pts/game while only allowing 10.2 pts/game defensively, Oneonta defeated Winfield 28-21
